Life is too short. Wear something you're comfortable in. |
| Original rise hanky pankys are very comfortable and don't ride up your butt. |
| I've worn thongs for years and I find them very comfortable. At night I wear cotton panties. 34, married 7 years been with my husband for 10. We both seem ok with my choices. |
| Hanky Panky forever. |
OR....they just don't like thongs. |

I think it's funny that people are arguing over this. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in!
To answer the original question - I prefer stretchy, seamless panties. I've never had a VPL issue wearing those, so it works for me. I suspect people who have panty lines are either wearing the thicker cotton panties (like hanes, etc...) or pants that are too tight! I have also several times seen thong lines through someone's pants (you know, the little triangle at the top). If thats the case, then you need to size up! |
Wearing a thong increases your chances for a bacterial infection. |
Wearing a thong increases your chances for a bacterial infection. This just isn't true. |

I'm not a big person, but i don't have a flat bum so this type of panty is NOT comfy. I have a deep booty so I think I must needed a few extra inches in the crotch fabric to actually not grind gainst my crack all day. Never found a pair that does this unless it's a much too large g-string style.
I don't have sensitive skin but I've gotten rashes from trying to wear them. I just think if you can see the thong all the way down when you are standing, from behind, then they are for you (flat booty). If, like me, they disappear right in there to the point where you have to wince, squat down and spread to even be able to see them, they are not for you. And yes they do contribute it bacterial infections.... I thought everyone knew this? |
Of course it is true. https://www.healthtap.com/#topics/what-causes-bacteria-infection |

| I have a nice fit bottom, never wear a thong. Having a ten pound baby gave me hemorroids, no thanks on the thong rubbing those! |
| I have worn thong for longer than I can remember and have never had a bacterial infection or yeast infection. Of course, I do clean my ass so "the movement of the thong when i walk" per the stated article is not passing bacteria from the back to the front. I also wear a thong that fits and isn't sliding around. Perhaps if your are prone to infections or sloppy on cleanliness an thong may increase your chance of infection, but neither I or any of my friends have had this problem. |
+1 If you can't clean your bottom then thongs aren't for you. |
| I only wear thongs when I need to avoid panty lines. Utilitarian only. I'm a woman, so take this as you will, but I don't think they are remotely sexy. Topless + boy shorts = hot. |
