Thongs

I do not wear thongs because I find them to be very uncomfortable. Nor do I wear granny panties (those are also uncomfortable IMO). I wear bikini style panties that are both cute and comfortable. Win-win in my book. I have many pairs of the seamless kind that do not usually show through pants. Occasionally I'm sure I have minor panty lines, but I don't care enough to have a piece of fabric between my ass cheeks all day long.

I agree even as a man, I feel for you, they must be uncomfy as hell, and I don't wanna go in detail, moral fluff not involved in this.
I think if you wanna use leggings as pants, they must be your size, don't let them stretch, they must silhouette you but leaving something to immagination.

Yes they do. You can see the pattern of the lace through thinner fabrics.

I usually don't wear see through pants or skirts, so this does not affect me.

41 YO, decent shape. I generally prefer a Hanky Panky thong to almost any other kind of panty, at least while wearing pants. I wear a 4 or 6 in pants, and the thong does not rub anything. Maybe they just fit me better. VS Pink thongs, on the other hand, are incredibly uncomfortable for me. The Jockey seamless are too loose. Moving Comfort are too high and narrow. So maybe it is a matter of finding the right brand and cut for your body.

My pants are not so tight that you can see the lace pattern (BTW, the all cotton ones have very smooth lace waist band and a cotton knit for the body). Pants (or dresses or skirts) that tight are indecent and unflattering, IMHO.

If the waistband is peeking out of the top of pants, that is because the pants are too low / the panties are too high, which happens regardless of thong, bikini, boy short, or any other type of undies. I generally cut the person some slack, as they probably did not realize this was a problem before leaving the house. At least if they are over age 25 or so and presumably aren't trying to show off their undies.

I find that women who are so opinionated about how awful thongs are are ones that are unhappy/not confident with their bodies.

Thongs for my lover, only.
Makes me hot just thinking about it.

Um, my DH doesn't care what underwear I wear. He'd rather see me naked anyway. I feel bad for you if you feel like you have to wear sexy underwear to impress your husband.

No, but my DH likes it. I feel bad for you DH that you don't do things to make him happy.

This. Why do I care what underwear some else I wearing. Why should someone care what I wear. It's weird.

Are you unhappy with your body?

How on earth are thongs comfortable? Would a man be able to tolerate basically a string 'cutting' into his backside? Why should women wear those contraptions and be uncomfortable (and have possible disgusting results, from body 'fluids' and such on the string)?

In case you hadn't noticed, the thread was started by a thong wearer. Does the fact that she seemingly cares about what other women wear make her unhappy/not confident with her body?

I don't wear thongs myself, but I couldn't care less if someone else does.

I'm confident and fit. I wear them and I look good in them.

45 year old here. Wearing thongs and proud. I'm in decent shape. Until this thread I had never hear of Hanky Panky, but thanks for the tip, I'll try them out. I wear Gap Body thongs in cotton and lace and they are super comfortable.

Go ahead trash on!

Hanky Panky for life. They are SO comfy! But not so comfy I can wear them to sleep.

My HP's are so low they let my crack peek out. But I have a high crack. My DH makes fun of me and says I wear "half underwear." Do your HP's ride this low, too?

FWIW, I hate string thongs. HATE them.
