Sorry, I didn't notice the NW in the title. These H2's are heading south on the Parkway heading for New York Ave, so they are heading into the district, just on the East side, not NW. |
| Suburbans. Hate them. |
|
I hate Hummers with the white-hot heat of a thousand blazing suns.
But at this point in time I get a giggle thinking of them filling up their gas tank. |
| Mini-coopers, hands down |
LOL! I want one! |
| In the city (the actual city, not the "I live in CCDC so I can say I live in the city" city), I rarely if ever see a hummer, but Escalades and Navigators are all over the place. |
I used to drive by a house with two hummers and a midrange sports car in Petworth. I always assumed it was a drug dealer, since the cars approached if not exceeded the value of the real estate in the area. Now the cars are gone, which means that either they moved or the drug dealer was caught and his vehicles confiscated. |
| I hate the huge SUVs like escalades, suburban etc and then having about 10 kids pile out |
| Why? That's what they're for. It's more obnoxious imo when it's one douchebag with a bluetooth or a tiny bottle blonde and her yappy purse dog. |
I see a hummer each day I take my kids to our upper NW school. One is hideous yellow and the other is black. It might be the same family because I don't pay enough attention to notice if I see both of them on the same day, at the same time. Maybe they drop off with the yellow one and pick up with the black one. I'll pay extra close attention tomorrow morning and report back. At any rate, they do exist around here, neighbor. |
This! And Audis and Volvos. |
Hummer in NW DC? Clearly you're not in the area much. |
Exactly - nor escalades or the like. |
| What's wrong with fiats and mini coopers? I think they're adorable. Then again don't really have an aversion to any of the cars mentioned except the hummer (Which I have never seen in upper NW where I live by the way) and maybe the escalade type-cars. I don't understand the aversion to Audi except for the fact that there are 20 on every block. |
