Yes, we are obnoxious because we get 500 miles on one tank of gas and can fill up the tank for under $40. I love getting over 50 mpg. I also wonder why people drive vehicles that they have to pay $80-$100 to fill up the tank and do so more than once/week. That's a lot of money to spend on a car. |

Last weekend I was visiting family in an affluent town (not in DC area) and was amazed at all of the exotic cars (Maserati, etc) there. Tons more variety. You just don't see much of that in Georgetown - all of those black E-class station wagons seem so bland now.
