There is no in demand on DCUM charter that has K entry yr like OP needs anyway. Chances of getting into 2 Rivers, Stokes, Haynes, YY, etc for K is probably nil. Move to JKLMM or MoCo which has bus service. |
| Sounds like a big gap in the school market... |

If I could go back and pursue bilingual ed for my kids, I would.
That said, we had a great experience for 4 years living on the Hill and going to Brent. |
| K is an excellent entry year for Stokes, moreso than PreK. |
I agree, and that's where we are after much house-searching. I grew up in CC DC a few blocks from Murch - both are great schools, but I love being in AU Park. |

Yes, charters collectively and DCPCSB need to address. Charters need to build programs after 7th and 8th grades that people will be willing to stay for. Real estate must be taken off the table as a constraint to charter growth. |
| Janney. Duh. |
| Murch. Duh! |

Hyde Addison, or Ross if your work is down town and you value the time you save not commuting.
|
not true. Once you are in (and attending), you are in. |
Also not true. It is up to the principal to decide if you can stay or if you need to reapply for the next school year. You can stay through the current school year, of course. |
| Oyster! |
Is this true if you move to VA? Will tuition apply? |
| Lafayette, duh. |
