Clint Eastwood

He was pathetic. Changed my opinion of him.

I didn't see or hear Clint E's speech, but I wish I had. For probably the first time ever in my 40-something years, I tuned in to the Republican convention Tuesday and Wednesday (was in a hotel on work travel). I really admire people who can speak well in public, but many of the speeches had a contrived, stilted delivery, perhaps because they were reading from the teleprompter. The worst one I saw/heard was given by two attorneys general from Florida and Georgia - terrible! I did enjoy seeing Ann Romney and Condi Rice speak - I think they both did well even though I am not a Republican/right-leaning.

In fact, we're saddened that our America is changing so much in a way that will leave crushing debt for our children and grandchildren.

It's surprising that you all are so worried about the crushing debt you are leaving to your children and grandchildren but don't seem to be worried about the devastated environment you will be leaving them (get rid of the EPA, right?).

Bobby Jindal exemplified the hypocrisy just the other day. Not only does he ask for money from FEMA which the republicans cut, but he wanted additional funding to cover state expenses beyond those covered in a disaster declaration. In other words both hands out. When asked about his his spokesman replied "We make no apologies for fighting for the people of Louisiana regardless of who is president"

In other words, when it's about me and my constituents, I do not have to explain myself.

I didn't name all the things that concern me. Yes, I'm very worried about the environment and am very much an outdoors type.

I'm sure it's going to be all over the internet (if it is not already!).

Disrespectful and idiotic ... The RNC is already trying to distance themselves from CE the clown.

Did anyone see John Stewart last night? He referred to the invisible Obama in the chair as the one only Republicans can see. A bunch of crazies, Ha!
