Dina the latest wife. Francesca (his daughter with Frances Fisher) and his daughter with Dina, Morgan are featured on there. Clint was on two episodes. |
Right. Brooke Shields is acting like an actor. She's acting when she performs in a commercial. (I'm using this term loosely you understand.) The political crap is in a different league all together and it irritates the crap out of me. |
Suppose it would have been more interesting if it was delivered by any one of the following instead: Gary Sinise, Alice Cooper, Drew Carey, Angie Harmon, Drew Carey or Patricia Heaton.
You would still say they were crazy! I suppose you couldn't use agism on them as in, "it is just crazy old Clint..." |
Oh yeah, Drew Carey would have definitely been funnier and more interesting. |
Why did you mention Drew Carey twice? ![]() The reason Clint Eastwod was chosen is simple - he's familiar to the target audience. I hate to sound 'elitist', but I don't think many Republican voters would know who Gary Sinise is. |
+1! He actually reminded me somewhat of the character he played in that movie Gran Torino, where he was a grumpy old guy with a 'don't mess with me' attitude. |
What's completely shocking to me and depressing to me is that so many right-wingers (on my FB page) were praising that performance of Eastwood's. Sad. I guess I thought of Eastwood as a little more classy than the angry white guys. Guess not. |
Clit lost it long ago. He's been making terrible movies for some time now, and his acting has been awful too. Last night should come as no surprise, but he was a good representative for the party. |
Clint Eastwood is representative of many in the GOP. Out of touch, rich, grouchy old men saddened that "their America" is changing so much. |
+1 |
I feel the same. And felt the same way about Bush. |
Oh, you don't sound elitist. ![]() |
In fact, we're saddened that our America is changing so much in a way that will leave crushing debt for our children and grandchildren. |
Funny that the GOP Teabaggers weren't saddened about the crushing debt load resulting from the Bush tax cut rounds and two unopaid-for wars that (until the Obama administration) were off-the-books. Also interesting that the presidential nominee of what used to act (in 2004 and 2008) as the 9/11 Daddy Party, never mentioned the Afghan war, or "War Against Terrorism", etc. Not once. |
Yes, I was saddened, too, that Reagan and W both increased the deficit so greatly. Do you think Paul Ryan regrets having voted for all those budget busters during the W years? |
