| Something good that she can opt to use instead of Martha! |

I think Martha is beautiful.

I also like PPs suggestions of

Pearl and Rose are horrible.
Martha is good but I agree you need to give her a middle name she might choose instead. Pearl and Rose are old fashioned like Martha. Give her an alternative. Martha Kelly Martha Simone Martha Claire |

Martha Marcia Marsha |
What is with you Rose people? It's a terrible name. |

My name is Martha and I like it, I guess I'm fairly biased though. I'm Martha RoisÃn (pronounced row sheen) it's irish for little rose because I'm Irish . Im a young girl too and I don't know any old ladies with that name.

Martha is my mom's name. She doesn't live it but I think it's special because it is hers. You all are some haters.
I like Martha Three-syllable One-syllable, Martha 1/3, or 3/2. |
| People, the OP is over two years old. I'm pretty sure she's had her child by now. Whether or not she used Martha and what middle name we may never know, but I don't think she needs suggestions at this point. |
Actually, that was my grandmother's name! I also went to school with a Martha in the 90s. She was one of the top two or three most popular girls in our class. It's definitely old-fashioned and probably not my favorite name, but I've seen it carried off. It will probably go better with a classic middle name to ground it. Martha Anne Martha Elizabeth Martha Jane Martha Eleanor Martha Grace Martha Leigh Martha Claire I don't like the double TH of Martha Catherine, even though I love the name Catherine. |
Thanks, PP. I just responded but hadn't even looked at the date of the original post. Oh well, wonder what the OP eventually named her daughter! |
