Traditional:
Rose Alexandra Josephine Justine Hope Jane Joy Kate Abigail Arabella Modern: Amber Katelynn (Caitlyn) Lily Montana |
| Martha Montana?? Really pp? That is the worst name in the world! |
| None of these names sound good with Martha to me, but maybe it's just because I think Martha is itself such an unattractive name? I'd really think hard about that name choice. And would choose a middle name that she can choose to go by if she's not happy with Martha (so NOT Jane, etc.). |
| Martha pearl was my beloved grandmother's name. |
| Anne. |

I dont know, I'm kind of partial to Martha thanks to Doctor Who. I'd go with something short like
Ann(e) Rose Jane Grace Joy Lee/Leigh Ray/Rae May Lynn |
| No little girl's name should sound like Barf. |
I agree, some of these sound like a 65 year old woman (seriously, Martha Jean?) If you do go with Martha, I'd pick something that sounds more contemporary: Brooke, Paige, Lauren, Elise, Camille, |
| I really like the name Martha. Marty would be a cute nickname. I like Rose for a middle name. |
I like it because it's silly. |
|
i LOVE Martha. i also love Martha Jane -- maybe i know the other Martha Jane suggester?!
Martha is a great name. MJ is also cute. and i like Marby as a nickname for Martha. |
|
What's wrong with Martha? It's not really my taste but it's not horrible. Actually, I know a Marta (Peruvian) and prefer it, and the Spanish pronunciation over Martha.
But I agree with pps who suggest a short, one or two syllable middle name. Anne Claire Rose Ruby |

If you have a long last name I'd do a one-syllable middle like Claire or Eve. If your last name is only one or two syllables, I'd go with a 3-syllable middle. Here are some combos I like:
Martha Anneliese Martha Caroline Martha Emmeline Martha Julianne |
| I think Martha is a darling name. I like the suggestion of Martha Anneliese. |
| I also like Martha Corinne and Martha Lisette. |
