S/O What food did you love as a child that makes you sick today?

I tried this a few years ago and it was gross. I also loved "Deviled Ham," which came in a small can. I have no idea what it is and I don't want to know. Also Hostess pies and honey buns, and the eclairs from 7-11. Although I suspect I'd still like those Hostess pies.

And +1 for Chef Boyardee anything. I always thought Spagettios were disgusting.

I call BS on people claiming that white bread makes them sick today. You may not eat it, but it's clearly delicious. I suppose I can see the argument for wonder bread, but if toasted, how could it be offensive except for the carbs.

I still love Cool Whip.

Read this, it will make you sick too.

My husband buys them and keeps them in the fridge... I've tried them on occasion if there's no other sweets around and I need a sweet bite, and they always leave the filmiest taste in my mouth! So gross... oh and I'm the PP who buys Wonder Bread so my tastes are really not that discerning. The cookies are just that bad.

Keebler Fudge Stripe Cookies -- oh my, I have not thought of those in years and now I really want to buy some!

Don't do it. The difference between your fond memories and reality will make you weep.

Agree about white bread. I don't buy it, but come on, it is delicious!

We used to eat that chinese food in a can, I can't think of what it was, but it was sort of a staple now that I think about it. I can't even say that it would make me sick now because I wouldn't ever touch it again!

McDonalds Milkshakes.

Can't stand them now, a disgusting sloppy mess.

I used to eat Chef Boyardee ravioli right out of the can, chased with a can of mandarin orange sections. I loved Chips Ahoy too

I'm reading a lot of these and thinking "oh yeah, I used to love that but man it's gross now." I can't help but wonder if the products have gotten worse in quality and ingredients or if adult taste buds are more refined?
