| Rihanna did sing a Coldplay song-the single that she is featured on, at the very beginning of Coldplay's set. Then, she left the stage while Coldplay did a song on their own, just like she got to sing one on her own. |

I agree with one poster that Kate Perry sang that song for her x, I thought it was so obvious.
Adele is pure talent but is in desperate need of a stylist...she looked 40 years older than her age. Rihanna was entertaining Beach Boys SUCKED! Too many old ppl tonight Paul McCartney was boring Chris Brown can dance but did not deserve to be on stage twice. Nicki Minaj - I think her career just went to hell. SHe is toast. |
| The Taylor Swift song was awful. The props, the song, everything. |
+1 |
| I thought the whole thing was so boooring. After about an hour I switch to Iron Chef America and each time I went back to the Grammy's I saw nothing to make me want to stay. JJ Cool J sucked, Nicki Minaj - what I say. I like adele's and J. Hudson's performances but that was about it. |
| I just read on NY magazine's website that the katy perry song is one that she recorded back in 2010 but it was never put on an album. She's releasing it now, probably because it so perfectly reflects whatever is going on in her head post-divorce. But it wasn't specifically written about her marriage. |

I'm such a fan of Adele. Everything about her -- she's awesome.
I don't get Nikki Minaj. That performance was awful. Like she was trying to be Gaga, but missed the mark completely. Painful. Speaking of Gaga, why the low profile? She seemed unusually under radar. Oh, and I absolutely loved Dave Grohl's speech. Yes, I like good dance music and electronica, but there's no substitute for real musicianship. The jam with Paul McCartney at the very end of the show was proof of that. (I DVR'd it and watched this morning.) |
We're from the same island, love her music buth hated her perfance. It was very dstasteful! Bajan girl did well as expected- go BIM! |
oops..pardon the typos..

Paul Macartney's first set was boooooooooooring, but his set at the end of the show was amazing.
Glen Campbell was my favorite performance of the night. There, I said it. |
|
Rihanna lip synched that perfomance and I didn't care for the Tina Turner hair.
I loved Kelly Clarkson's duet with that country guy, and she looked great. Adam Levine sounded and looked great. Fergie looked a hot mess in that orange cut out dress with black undergarments showing. |
|
I love the fact that Adele and Kelly Clarkson do not look like models but are recognized for their vocal abilities.
I like Adele's hair a little darker and less blonde, but I think she looked great. Lady Gaga's face net disturbed me. The mouse thing was weird -- what was that all about? Nicki Minaj - WTF? Didn't anyone in charge review the plans for the 'performance'? The Beach Boys need to think about hanging it up; they looked like they'd someone who would be yelling at kids to get off their lawn. The Foo Fighters rock and I can't wait to see them in concert again! |
| Paul McCartney is so over. He definitely didn't need to perform TWICE. |
|
Sir Paul looked like an old queen...and I loved it.
Rihanna looks like a cross between Goldie Hawn and Tina Turner. Was Chris Brown exiled to a tent? Loved Glen Campbell but found it disturbing that he said, "Where do I go?" off-mic when his set ended. Jennifer Hudson singing Whitney's signature song...are you kidding me? I thought she was horrible, although I know some of you loved her. She cannot perform live and is strictly a studio singer. Even with all the technicians in the world creating her voice for the canned "And I Am Telling You," she couldn't nail the Dreamgirls song. Jesus. Jennifer Holliday performed it live every night to perfection. Okay, I'm a little crazy and a huge Jennifer Holliday fan, but honestly, she's awful. |

if you are an old geezer and out of touch you won't understand the mouse heads aka deadmau5 or this (I am under 40)
