I did a little Googling about Taylor and Russell and their business dealings. She is clearly a talented grifter. Even friends of their claim that she said she was a Ford family member and actively participated in reeling in investors for Russell.

Taylor has serious problems. I'm not cutting her any slack. She had ample opportunities to remove her child and herself from the abusive situation. She chose to stay for the money. I bet she didn't finally leave him until she realized there was no more money. I have to wonder if there wasn't mutual abuse on both sides in that relationship. He might have been physically abusing her, but I think it is more than possible she was emotionally abusing him -- I don't think this excuses his behavior, but I really think there was problems on both sides.

Brandy is an idiot. What was up with her nipples? That was a very provocative outfit to wear for a night with the girls. I think she tries to push their buttons to see what they will do. Not to mention you could see her thong every time she turned around.

Taylor wants to be liked so that she can be the "it" girl. She wants to be the girl that she never was back in Oklahoma. I think she feels like she created the coolest name, has the best lips (remember how much press Angelina gets), the blond hair and can throw the lavish parties while being a mom. She loves the attention factor.

No, she didn't just "stay" for the money. She help bilk investors. She is no victim in that.

I actually think Brandy's a nice person. Nobody would mistake her for a conservative, but she's actually pretty nice and normal.

I agree with PP re: Kyle and Adrianne trying to stop Taylor for saying something on camera that might put her in danger. I think she is abused on hitting a wall. Might not be physical, but some abusers know how to cause pain w/o showing signs.

But she said he broke her jaw. If he broke her jaw, her friends would have noticed. There are pictures on the net of Taylor around the time she said he broke her jaw. Nothing. She is a pathetic POS. And she puts the fight for domestic violence victims backwards. Ugh.

I loved Brandi' dress. I think Kyle is jellybeans about Brandi.

Her entire face looks like it was reconstructed. I don't know if Russel f-d it up or if she was in some horrible chimp-biting accident and had a face transplant or what.

Taylor really does, in my opinion, personify a victim of abuse of some kind. Her absolute desperation to be liked (you can really see the moment when Lisa finally gets it and just gives in in order to get Taylor to stop being so pathetic), her willingness to take on guilt even when she's trying to get an apology (when Lisa apologizes and Taylor immediately says, "It's my fault too"). It doesn't surprise me that Taylor and Russell look totally normal when on camera together. It's all part of Taylor's fairy tale... small town girl gets rich and lands the "perfect" life.

This is by far one of the saddest seasons of any iteration - between the abuse, the suicide, Kim's addiction... a
great reminder that being rich really doesn't make one automatically happy.

I totally agree with you. Taylor seems abused, whether it is by Russell is questionable. She clearly had very shady business dealings with Russell, which lead to his suicide and his business partner. They are/were clearly people struggling to live a lifestyle they couldn't afford. But Taylor's neediness seems all consuming. This is a very dark season.

I think it's in poor tast that Taylor has already come out with a book about the abuse and her life with Russell. He just died a few months ago, right? She is capitalizing on a terribly tragic situation. I think it's great she's working with people in the community, and that she wants to raise awareness...but a book deal isn't the way to do it.
I think it's interesting that she breaks down without shedding a tear - I hadn't noticed that. It doesn't seem real somehow, and I think people sense that and can't connect to her.

I was thinking the same thing. She must have been shopping a book deal before his body even cooled.

What?! This totally fits her personality! Why not make money off your husband's suicide?! Her child needs elaborate birthday parties. She has ZERO shame. None!
