Heh. DH here, 47. I used to be with a woman who was significantly older than I and this is what I'll say: yes, from ~35-50 women have higher libidos than when they are younger. It declines again after that, and frequently dries up altogether. Sadly, men start their decline right around the time women get their boost. DW is hitting 35 and I remain hopeful.
I believe this is because testosterone is the horny-inducing hormone. Estrogen masks testosterone somewhat. After 35, most women start to experience declines in estrogen production, even if they aren't quite into "the change" just yet. Their testosterone levels, never all that high, are no longer masked by the estrogen. Hence, libido. Men and women with no real desire for sex probably could do with a bump of testosterone, if they want a sex drive. |
At my country club a ton of the women have affairs with the tennis pros. These women would never actually consider dating or marrying these guys but they are good for a quick bang. |

I dunno...one of my former nieghbors (I moved, not them) was a couple - he had been the tennis pro and her coach and she did leave her husband for him. Thy are happily married like 25 years later. This guy was my tennis coach at a summer camp. Hilariously, he's a Rushbo and Faux News listening "conservative". Nice people in spite of all of this and a good marriage. |
| I remember when I was 35 and my wife was 30, I was looking forward to the libido spike. Nine nearly sexless years later, I figure I'm due! |
Does she have a personal trainer or tennis coach? |
