Here are the things I am sick of:

Not being able to turn right on red some places....

Especially when NO ONE is coming and the light is an EXTREMELY long one in the other direction.

The Christmas season starting earlier and earlier. Right after Halloween, now? Can we just enjoy the month of November for it's fall splendor and yummy Thanksgiving without having to stress out about Christmas?

People who ask me if I'm done with my Christmas shopping yet.

My 2 and 4 year old boys constantly fighting over toys

Breakfast. Not alot of variety and choices in eating breakfast on a weekday.

I am all for being creative and unconventional when it comes to breakfast...never understood why it was limited to such a small group of foods. Leftover chicken, rice and veggies? Leftover pizza? Bring it.

Calling the DC area "the DMV." Stop it!

The fact that people who have Ivy league/advanced degrees are so judgemental and closed minded. You would think that with all this education one would have the capacity to try understand, respect and hear a different point of view and possibly say, "hmm, let me try to understand why you think that way and where you are coming from.." Things aren't as simple as they seem. So to see fellow coworkers who are so educated but act so ignorant makes me sick.

People who talk about their parochial school as if it's the same thing as a top private school. That's great if parochial school is a good for your family, but don't pretend either the academics or the prestige factor is on par with private schools (or better than public schools).

The vanity sizing also gets me. I was in Ann Taylor the other day and I was a 0. WTF? I am not even close to being a size 0.

11:06 - both. But I'm with you on the "SN" cries, half the time it is BS, just lazy ass parenting. (Thing: Lazy parents)

The playdate haters = no friends? Hmmm......

People who come down on others for random shit like that. MYOB and STFU.

People who expect others opinions to be the same as theirs, whether it be about the area, about religion, whatever. Just don't be an ass. (Thing: opinions)

People who complain about money as if the listener is going to pay their bills. Nope, not going to happen. We all have bills. I don't care about yours any more than you care about mine. STFU. (Thing: money)

Maybe they are more educated and know the correct view where as everyone else is ignorant.

People putting sports ahead of family time, church and school work.

The constant pressure to consume alcohol at every social occasion.

I'll give you family time and school work. But church? Wow. So you are sick of people who don't have same religious committment as you? Have fun with that.

I'm sick of people who baptize their babies in church but are absent 80% or more of the time. Why bother? No one is taking attendance. Either commit to your faith or don't bother.

Thank you for making my point even clearer!

Nope, it's public school for us. I have nothing against parochial school, just the parents who act like it's so much better than public school. Now a place like Sidwell, well, that is better than public school. The only reason the people I know pay for parochial is because they can't afford private and think public is not good enough.

Baptism is in the New Testament (and it is adult baptism, not children). Attending church every Sunday is not in the New Testament. Matthew 18:20 clearly states that “For where two or three are gathered in my (Jesus) name, there am I among them.”

Committing to my faith can be done (and shown) in many other ways then showing up every Sunday.

Of course, many poeple that go to church every Sunday are the least Christian people I know in real life.

People who take their time washing their hands, freshening their makeup, etc when it’s clear that I’m in the bathroom stall trying to hold my shit until you leave. If I’m courteous enough to save you the smell of my stench, be courteous enough to not linger too damn long!

Parents who use negotiation to discipline their kids.

People who say using emoticons is immature/childish/etc. I like them; fuck off.

Sexual prudes.

The foam-at-the-mouth demeanor of some agnostics and atheists.

People who talk way too close to me and invade my personal space. Please back the fuck up!!

People who ignore leash laws and let their dogs run free in playgrounds

-Ridiculously expensive farmers markets

-Everything about Facebook

ITA! I'll add on to the dog one...
- When there is clearly a NO DOGS ALLOWED sign on the playground, but the adult feels a need to not only let Fido onto the playground, but to let Fido go down the slide.
