That must have been you I saw at all the demonstrations against the war and the prisoner abuse when Bush was in office.
Exactly what was "hip-hop" about his birthday party? Wait - are you suggesting - holy shit! - were there BLACK people there? |
A second possibility is that he is simply not up to the task by virtue of his lack of experience and a character defect that might not have been so debilitating at some other time in history. Those of us who were bewitched by his eloquence on the campaign trail chose to ignore some disquieting aspects of his biography: that he had accomplished very little before he ran for president, having never run a business or a state; that he had a singularly unremarkable career as a law professor, publishing nothing in 12 years at the University of Chicago other than an autobiography; and that, before joining the United States Senate, he had voted “present” (instead of “yea” or “nay”) 130 times, sometimes dodging difficult issues.
from NY Times today. |
or Obama scored a luck just because he was not Bush. And that 72 year old cancer survivor made a mistake picking Palin. Well, at least the Generals get fired becuase of some funny comments that reportes claim. |
One of the only votes he actually made was to NOT increase the debt ceiling ! LOL. |
I'm suggesting it was hip-hop themed...and occuring while troops are dying and the country being downgraded. My opinion is that it looks ridiculous and I would like a more serious/smarter person in the White House. I believe most Americans would too. |
Bush knew you couldn't end the wars, pull troops out and close Guantanimo. Obama ran on the promise that he would. Therefore I theorize Obama is stupider than Bush. |
How disgraceful is this? Soldiers are killed trying to rescue Army Rangers, and you are belittling their sacrifice by making this an opportunity to play politics.
Such a hypocrite. You don't care about the people who sacrifice for America. You are just as bad as Fred Phelps. |
Obama could, but the republicans will not let him. The man does not have that much power maybe US would not be downgraded if we had better politicians |
Uh-huh. And as I asked, on what basis are you suggesting that it was hip-hop themed? |
Palin never looks good. |
Gee, we are already on the timetable out of Iraq. Isn't that the timetable Bush said could never work, yet later agreed to? I theorize that you forget things that are inconvenient to you. |
ummm, rap stars were there, it was not a big crowd, and they played hip-hop music. if frank sinatra was there and they were playing jazz music it would be a jazz theme. If Jay-Z is there and they play rap music, it is rap themed. not rocket science ... |
Ummm... the performers were Stevie Wonder (R&B), Herbie Hancock (Jazz), and Ledisi (R&B). Not Rap. I would call you racist, but really you are just gullible. You just believe everything that Fox says, and (surprise!) that's not a safe bet. |
I'll call him a racist, or at least a promoter of racism, just like Faux. If Frank Sinatra (uh...let's go with Harry Connick, Jr., since he's alive) had been there and they had (still) been playing jazz, we know that Faux wouldn't have called it a "jazz party," and neither would this sleaze. Why was the music played there relevant? |
You realize that Bush started the wars (by lying to us), right? Real genius. |
