JLO and Mark Anthony calling it quits...

Nanny here- I actually did interview to be their nanny, but it really doesn't bother me if you don't believe it. We did a trial period, they live on Star island in Miami. He was very nice and down to earth. She was a bit too OCD and nit-picky for me, which is fine she is the parent and it's her choice how she wants her children raised. She also wanted the nanny to wear a uniform and work 24/6 for the first year. That was not my preference so I moved on.

What kind of uniform?

I hate JLO. She's disgusting. Worst actress, singer and her moves at her age just look stupid.

Nanny- it was just khaki pants and a white polo. But I just felt like a uniform was dehumanizing. Additionally I've worked for many celebrities and when I have the choice I always try to choose a family behind the scenes. Working for a celebrity is drama, long hours, and lots of extra work. I want to be paid well and celebrities pay well, but you can find work with people in the industry who work behind the scenes and don't have a giant ego and unreasonable expectations. Jobs with celebrities are 'lifestyle positions' where basically you give up your life for the job. With JLO she wanted a live-in in Miami, and you'd have to share the guest house with the other nanny. I went to Australia for 2 weeks with a celebrity, sounds great right? Not really. I didn't leave the Como hotel more than 3 times, and had no days off.

Ok, I know people are criticizing JLO, but anyone else find her latest song a bit catchy? For me it's mainly because of the familiar tune inclusion (Lambada). Here's JLO's video:

Saw this coming and am kind of relieved. He looks creepy and weird, and he was a jerk for leaving his previous wife. JLo was completely rebounding from Ben Affleck - everybody in the world knows this. They rarely look happy together in pictures. It's too bad for the kids, but this is not a shocker by any stretch of the imagination!

It does not matter how hot she once was, now she's just another older woman. After 40, all women are equals.

Hmm no, latinas age way better than white women.

Likely a man. What's funny is that I know so many more attractive women over 40 than men. Most men around here are not in their 40s looking like Johnny Depp or Brad Pitt.

I don't listen to either of their music but ever since I saw Marc perform at the Kennedy Center tribute to Paul Simon, I've been a fan. YouTube it - amazing! He's more talented than jlo.

I love Marc Anthony's music. More so than JLo. I think she's a better dancer than singer. I loved watching her back in her Fly Girl and Janet Jackson days. Anyway, it's sad to see another marriage end and sad for the kids.

20:56, you are right, that song samples the melody from Lambada, by Kaoma. There is a Brazilian version you might like called Chorando Se Foi, by Ivete Sangalo.

Boring video, JLo has no voice, terrible choreography, stupid song. The thing to watch is her perfectly beautiful face. I can't stop looking at it. I think that's all.
