Clothing trends are awful now

This actually seems like an older thing. My mom (in her 70s) is always going on about trends and not liking what’s in style. Or asking me what’s in style. I’m like… I don’t really know? Wear whatever you want. Older people seem to be worried about keeping up with styles because they used to change more than they do now so you would look outdated fast if you didn’t change.

It is. It’s a sign you’re getting old.

True story; I saw a plain white blouse at Nordstrom being sold for almost $250 (!). The kicker: it was 100% polyester. This is what we’re dealing with, people.

Please link to the blouse so I can buy it when it's on clearance for $50. Because I like blouses that can survive a washing and can handle stain removal products so I can stop worrying about ruining natural fiber blouses with curry and ink.

Not PP but a Lands End cotton blouse that's non-iron survives an awful lot of washes before it loses the treatment (which yes, if you're a purist on your fabrics is a no-go, but I just like things breathable) and takes stain removers just fine.
