But issue is schools are funding alot via income tax and they are not paying anything. So the World Banks shifted paying for the schools to the taxpayers.
They get a really big subsidy to rent a place in DC so they live in the best areas.
World Bank colleagues do not get subsidies for rent. Nor educational benefits. That was in the old system. Depending on their national laws, they might have to pay taxes back home, I am not sure about that. I am a US citizen, so I pay taxes.
