No self respecting fully employed adult with a college degree lets his parents pay his rent. I don’t care if he has to live in NJ and commute. You make it work living on what you earn. Dont like that? Move. As a parent, I wouldn’t do this. They have to learn independence.

My UMD ‘26 graduate (non-stem) will be working in the DMV area and had multiple offers for 90k plus. Seems like Boston and NYC kids are not getting paid enough.
