If a guy says he visits Thailand or Colombia

It's a lovely country with many traditions, excellent food, and a "land of smiles" lifestyle. It's also a great place to enjoy nice weather and relaxing for a reasonable price and with great service.

Which one?

And 3% of an economy is huge.

I previously lived in Thailand. Around 95% of western men I knew participated in sex tourism of some kind. However, Thailand is a sex work hub for the entire world. East Asians, Arabs, and South Asians are also visiting for sex tourism. Honestly the 3% figure is probably understated. And of course there is a huge domestic clientele of Thai men.

No. Everybody knows old European white women do sex tourism in the Caribbean

Jamaica specifically

Ask how many times he has been to the DR, too

It's certainly one of the least articulate OPs.

Yes, especially on a repetitive basis.

It is so weird to be offended by prostitution when most of you are okay with premarital sex. Prostitution is not much different than sex in a bf-gf ‘relationship’. Both situations are wrong as all sex outside of marriage is a sin. Please repent and have sex only with your spouse.

The primary truth in the post above is that either way, the man is paying for it.

LOL, usually, but not always

Don't blame a man that enjoys sex and decides to pay for a professional instead of ruining all the virgins he could. Which would you rather ?

Thailand and Colombia are both objectively wonderful counties to visit and travel though. Beautiful landscape. Nice people. Great beaches. Awesome food. Interesting history and culture.

And you are talking about someone who mentioned these locations as aspirational travel, not some 60 year old man going to Phuket four times a year. Honestly, I'd be more likely to drop someone for even questioning why someone would want to travel there someday.

I was in Colombia with my kids staying at a nicer hotel and it was most certainly going on -- creeped me out

As well as the Philippines too.

He is an avid surfer 🏄🏻‍♂️ + claims he loves to surf in Thailand.
He is married and his wife accompanied him on his trip so not thinking anything nefarious went on……..

Sweet summer child…….

These are all countries with gorgeous beaches that are affordable. Lots of people go to these countries for honeymoons and vacations. If he's going there alone multiple times a year it would maybe raise an eyebrow but once? Completely unbothered especially if he's into watersports, rock climbing or other outdoors stuff there.
