Trump as Jesus Truth Social

I think Trump is evil so this is just another example of what a piece of crap he is. But I am also curious to hear from those who support him what they make of this. And how do you rationalize it?

Besides the obvious blasphemy one thing that immediately stood out to me is the whiteness of everyone's skin. Even when playing God, its only for his chosen race. It makes me so sick that US history has this stain on it.

Some of the base believes he is chosen by God. There was a lot of religious imagery of him during both elections. I think he thinks this is saying that or he actually believes he is God at this point. He may not even realize how blasphemous it is because he is not religious himself.

I think that this may not blow over as easily as it would have ten years ago or ten months ago. It's a different world, a crazy one, that he and his advisors have created. There also seems to be a bit of self-destruction involved, it seems to me.

I grew up fairly religious. Now consider myself spiritual.

This is one time there should be no separation between church and state.

The guy is insane and unfit. He is dangerous. I'm hoping this is what it takes to have him removed from office.

I hope the pope comes out and says that. I can't fathom why the people behind him are not working to have him removed.

One of the most religious members of my family has been saying quite seriously since 2016 that Trump is the Antichrist. I laughed it off for a long time.

But if there were an Antichrist, what would they be doing differently?

Trump is not the anti-Christ, called the Man of sin in the Bible.

In Daniel 11:37 we have a description:

Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

Trump regards the desire of women, so Trump is not the anti-Christ.

Does it change my view of Trump? I already thought he was evil. So, that didn’t change. But it added to my view that he must have dementia to be doing something like this that has the potential to alienate many people who might have voted for him.
