Same with 31 compared to 32 - weak |
| The 31s are light-years ahead of the 32s |
well, 1 year at least. |
| this sounds like a bias against odd years, lol |
| FLC 34 vs HOCO 34. will this game be more competitive? |
Competitive like within 10 goals? |
|
| No team is competitive against HOCO 34 |
| what 2034 program has the best coaching staff do people think.. I get it HOCO is unbeatable right now but is the coaching that much better. . . |

knowing nothing about the individual coaches... BLC, Legends, Predators and Skywalkers seemed to have improved a lot since last season, not sure if it is coaching developing girls or they got better players. |

My vote goes to Hero’s ‘34 Green. They coach for the long haul and not necessarily being champions of 10 year olds. As for Hoco ‘34, they have better athletes. |

When you have equal playing time or close, it’s hard to compete against a team that plays very heavily their best few and benches their worst few.
You have to be willing to develop the girls at the cost of losing games at this early age. Or, you can put winning each and every game and being league champions above that all. Depends on club and coach philosophy. Hero’s has nothing to prove and has the luxury of being able to focus on developing its girls and winning as they can. HOCO has the goal of digging its overall club ranking out of the complete gutter (current state). |

Glad this thread popped back up—I want to complain about the unfair schedules of the 2035 teams. It is going to dictate a few (3 of 8) teams in the playoff pool, ridiculously. Eh-hem, you know which teams you are.
On the flip side, poor Coppermine ‘35 Blue. A B team (they told right there with the name “Blue”) of quite a few 2nd graders had the hardest schedule in the league. They’ve scored 9 goals the whole season (out of 7 games; and in their last game they scored 5 of them) and had 137 goals scored against them. Someone give their poor little goalies a white flag or a break. What a way to make lacrosse unfun for young kids trying their best. They’re 0-7 at the bottom of the league…because they’ve played Hero’s Green, MD United East, HOCO Black and M&D Black. Shame on the teams which did not manage the game and their team better to NOT RUN UP THE SCORE TO 25, 22 and 26 GOALS. Next year, need A and B divisions in 2035, thankyouverymuch. |
| HOCO 34 has better coaching. Top players want to play for the top coach. |
They start the A and B divisions in 4th grade, it's only the first year that is combined. I agree they probably shouldn't be scheduling clearly B teams from clubs against the Top A teams (at least not all of them), does look like Coppermine Blue got a raw deal, although Coppermine Black 35 looks really solid so maybe Blue asked for a tough schedule?? You never know! |
