I think you're trolling but if you're not you need to wash more often than that. The heat and humidity... really please wash more.

I assure you, nothing happens.

I can only imagine what your environment smells like. I have a 17 year old who also thinks he is fine, but his entire room smells like BO and he only goes two days tops before i lose my shit. So gross.

They have no idea they smell I'm sure the stinky ones never do. But when you have an audience that kindly tells you to wash more and you double down you're on your own. And you’re filthy and nasty. We tried to be nice, oh well. That poster is just discusting.

Unlike you, they can spell, are conserving water, and aren’t a bully.

Once a week? Do you bathe or otherwise clean your body...?

Not really. I shower Thursday mornings for my in office day, then volunteer outside Saturdays. I do all my socializing Thursday- Saturday.

I’m fascinated by this, though I know people only bathed once a week (if that) in the past. Do you not sweat? Do you have a special hair combing routine or do you have short hair? I’m thinking you must wash face and neck, hands, feet, and genital area every day?

Nope. I wash my hands every time I come in from outside, use the toilet or am about to cook. My hair is past my shoulder blades, or just at the bottom of them.

I'm usually very chill and think that people who shower twice a day (or more) are insane and super wasteful. But you're at the other end of the scale and can't see how you don't stink to high heaven, only showering once a week.

My showers are short (probably shorter than your one shower!) but I think it's vital to shower after a poop and before bed, hence the twice a day routine.

You need to learn how to clean your behind better, PP. You're just as bad as the person who only washes once a week. You two have no sense of proportion and moderation.

I clean my behind perfectly well, that's not enough. Why do you think many people in the world have a bidet or jet spray?

I wfh. Shower every 1 - 2 days. Wash hair every 2 - 3 days, depending on what I've done or what I have planned. Makeup, never. Blow dry, rarely; it is curly and dry.

Shower and wash hair etc daily.
No makeup, except maybe lipstick if going out. No blow dry. Looks and feels better if air dry.

Of course it's enough. If I happen to be at home and have a BM before I shower, great. If I have to go later in the day, i'm not taking a whole shower because I had to take a shit. You're weird and probably have OCD.

Exactly my point (although there are other ways to stay clean down there). So no need for an additional shower.

So you don't have an argument as to washing. Some people naturally sweat and stink less than others, I get that. Some of my close relatives have very little body odor, whereas I have - it's not fair! But even if you have a naturally light body odor and don't immediately start to stink to high heaven with your daily activities, it's not possible to go through an entire week without showering, and not smell. Sorry, that's just basic sweat gland chemistry.

I'm not telling you to change your habits. I'm just telling you how your body works.

I shower every day or every other day depending on if I work out or not. I only do makeup if I'm going to work (2x a week) or out in the evening/weekends. But some things don't require makeup (e.g. sports games, events at the school, etc.). I don't dress up for other parents, LOL.

Takes me 60 minutes to get out of the house no matter what I do, not sure why. All I do is:
-shower, wash hair (brush teeth in the shower)
-scrunch my curls
-pick out clothes and jewelry, get dressed
-make coffee to take along
-grab pre-made lunch
-leave

I do it 7 days a week.

All of it every day. I go into an office every day. It's not bad. I'm used to it and love to look my best.
