Once a week? Do you bathe or otherwise clean your body...?

Not really. I shower Thursday mornings for my in office day, then volunteer outside Saturdays. I do all my socializing Thursday- Saturday.

I’m fascinated by this, though I know people only bathed once a week (if that) in the past. Do you not sweat? Do you have a special hair combing routine or do you have short hair? I’m thinking you must wash face and neck, hands, feet, and genital area every day?

Nope. I wash my hands every time I come in from outside, use the toilet or am about to cook. My hair is past my shoulder blades, or just at the bottom of them.

I'm usually very chill and think that people who shower twice a day (or more) are insane and super wasteful. But you're at the other end of the scale and can't see how you don't stink to high heaven, only showering once a week.

Well, what do you care? I'm only usually around other people Thursday through Saturdays. If something comes up another day of the week I'll shower that morning. But I try to do everything during the three days.

What?! Why? Not trying to to mean but that's not enough.

I shower daily, never blow dry hair, and out on at least some makeup daily. It’s very minimal though: brow pencil/gel, mascara, cheek stain and a little on my lips. Makes a huge difference.

Don’t you exercise ever?

My showers are short (probably shorter than your one shower!) but I think it's vital to shower after a poop and before bed, hence the twice a day routine.

Eh, I go for walks and do some stretching for flexibility and arm weights at home.

Enough for whom? It's enough for me.

For the same reason you chose to tell us all about it. I responded to the thread just like you. If you post something that is completely out of the norm (and quite frankly gross and unsanitary) people are going to comment on it.

It's not vital. It's an obsession you developed.

Shower - daily, before bed
Wash hair - every other day
Blow dry - never, its thin and dries quickly
Make-up - light make-up 4-5x/wk, typically if I'm going to work or on errands. Heavier make-up 1x a week when I'm going somewhere nice. I got laser treatments last year and don't need much now.

Shower almost every day (there is the odd weekend day where I'm just exhausted and might choose to stay in pajamas or lounge pants or something and not shower, maybe once a month).

I style my hair with a blowdryer maybe once or twice per week, but it lasts for quite a while. I might touch up with a curling iron occasionally.

I wear makeup most days, but it's pretty minimal -- mascara, tightlined eye liner, blush, a tinted burt's bees lip balm or ilia lipstick/balm.

Same routine. These showers are also super short, like a minute? But shampoo every other day and that's a long shower.

I shower and wash my hair every day- often I shower twice a day in the summer because I spend a lot of time outside slathered in sunscreen.

I blow dry my hair a couple of times a month, otherwise I let it air dry as it's more wavy than frizzy.

I wear makeup once ir twice a month maybe- only to dinner or events.

I absolutely must be clean, but I don't otherwise care too much what I look like, I guess.

Shower daily
Blow dry hair after washing (usually every other day)
Makeup daily, but I don't wear a lot - undereye concealer, mascara, blush
