I don't recommend this unless you trust the coach. The club has no obligation to release your player card once you have committed for the season. When I was a team manager, the TD/coach did this to a few kids who suddenly wanted to transfer to a rival club. They held those kids player cards hostage and refused to release them to the new club. |
If you are switching from say ECNL to MLS, it doesn't matter. If you are switching from ECNL to ECNL, then you get the state board involved. |
We accepted the offer from a new club. The tryout for the current club is not in few weeks. Maybe we'll tell them after the season is over |
