I agree. My kids are young adults and teens. Life has a way of teaching you lessons. No one is special, and I don't think you're in a position to do an AMA.

Why would I need to? I said AMA and people made assumptions right off the back.

Most people would not want kids this close in age. My kids are asleep. I’m pregnant and bored. My wife is doing some work. I thought this would be fun. Going to sleep within the hour.

I mean, most people can't afford it (we couldn't afford a full time nanny or multiples in day care with two full time jobs), and/or can't physically do it (with only one person carrying the children). You are very fortunate!

It's an anonymous AMA on DCUM. There are no qualifications required.

Ideally we’d keep our current nanny for 4-6 more years.

My 3-year-old goes PT to preschool and will go FT next year. I plan on the same for the following kids. I work a few nights a week so am available during the day although I do need to sleep some days. My nanny has zero issues handling all 3 and when we hired her we told her we wanted 3-4 kids and she’s very experienced.

Oops. I am not a native English speaker so often mess up common phrases.

OP already said they have a full-time nanny.

Are you aware of something called BIRTH CONTROL or A VASECTOMY FOR YOUR DH?!

36 month is a three year old s dit is stupid and silly to say 36 month old. If you have only given birth to one how do you have 3 kids? I think you are a troll

Why do you think I have anything to ask you?

What are your screen time rules? What WILL be your screen rules when they get older?

I find your post concerning because you talk about your kids like they’re a project. As they grow, please remember that they’re each their own person.

My only question would be finances...life is expensive for just 1 kid around her much less 4. Pre-school, nanny, etc. all cost a lot. I see it with my D and son-in-law and they have 2 kids. They pay a fortune for their nanny and pre-school for their 4 year old.

Do you either of you come from a wealthy family and thus have a financial trampoline? Having financial support or knowing you are getting a chunk of change at some point certainly makes things easier!
