Name one thing he’s gotten right.

He blows up rockets.
He thinks he’s going to mars but has never made it to outer space.
DOGE was a disaster
He has to pay women to have his kids.
He didn’t invent Tesla he bought it and then ran it into the ground.
He bought X and ran than into the ground.

What exactly has he gotten right?e]

He got right that electric vehicles were the place to put $$. He got right that superchargers should be put all over the US. He got right that landing booster rockets so that they can be reused would make his company VERY profitable. He got right that self driving would be an important new technology. He got right that a system of satellites would provide communication anywhere in the world.

So his personal life is a shambles, but that doesn't really affect me. He has definitely made mistakes, yes. He's not a god. Anybody in his position is going to be criticized for good and bad all the time.

But I think we all know that the world is changing rapidly and many of us never would have guessed that we would have the computer capability that we have now. So who knows. He's allowed to dream and he dreams big. It's who he is.
Satellites were already providing communication to the world for decades before SpaceX.

It’s amazing people think he has anything to do with advancing these technologies.

He’s a buffoon.

I guess he’s good at marketing to buffoons.

You can't be that rich and irrelevant. It's just not how it works in 2026.

SpaceX is nearly the entire space travel and satellite industry, including satellite Internet.

Tesla cars are very popular

He has more kids than you.

Paying women to have kids is better than raping women

X is still the dominant worldwide social media system.

He thinks you don’t know who these people are…

Tom Mueller
Martin Eberhard
JB Straubel

Marc Tarpenning

All the brains have left and I’ve gone to other companies and are tanking all of Elon‘s companies.

Elon was in the abstract file so he’s both paying for kids that he never sees and diddling little kids. (Allegedly)

X his ranked 15th and social media platforms and it has lost 58% of its value since Elon took over

Find another boot to lick

It is good that other companies are starting to compete with Tesla. This is good for Tesla as well. It is good for America. It means that other companies are accepting the technology that will drive the future. Whatever happens, Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, and xAI, have had a BIG impact on the future of communications, cars, satellites, robotics, etc. And that impact has and will move us forward as a country and as a world.

Does he mean don't worry about retirement because our lord of the manor will provide for our protection and sustenance?

Well it’s good Tesla competed with the leaders. Tesla is 3rd in both production and technological advancement.

They cannot compete with Tesla until they have full self driving. It's not about electric cars only. Tesla's main product now is their FSD, which is subscription based starting Feb for people who haven't purchased their cars with it and had it grandfathered. Anyone who had tried FSD and uses it will never buy another electric vehicle that doesn't have it. No matter how nice they make them, they are ancient technology without FSD and feel like horse and buggy.

They likely mean that a huge monetary/currency system overhaul is overdue and is happening before we retire. Money as we know it will go away. It will be all tokenized. Including all your assets, like RE, stocks, etc, even natural resources. Your labor is also going to be tokenized. And definitely there will have to be some sort of UBI or there will be mass rebellions when masses of people have nothing to lose. They aren't going to make it so that people are that desperate. Several companies are deep into tokenization already, some names you never heard. Crypto was just a trial run, but it's going to be another level.

With all of Elon Musk's efforts to avoid taxation on his billions, I would doubt that. He would be happy to let most of us starve in the name of eugenics.

You are that boys and girls lol. So stop asking whether you have enough saved for retirement. You don't have to worry about it. Now go ahead and book that $20k trip to the Maldives.

He single-handily f'ed up the govt. Why should I listen to that f'ker?

I remember in the middle of the DOGE mess, he was quoted as saying he found it suspect that there were many federal employees who make $100K per year and yet have a net worth in the millions, and considered it self-evident proof that there was some sort of mass theft from taxpayers or graft going on. It did not seem plausible to him that people could (mathematically) or would (patience wise) spend decades slowly saving and investing to accumulate that amount of money. That was when I started to wonder if he might not actually be that smart.

I suggest we yank Musk from his billions, give him a "regular" job at Walmart, and then see whether he feels like "saving for retirement".
