Oh I’m on my way, fool. Enjoy this self-inflicted $hitshow, and sorry Europe has no use for your sorry @$$. But seriously, thanks for destabilizing the entire g-oddam Western World AND ruining the environment for ALL of our kids and grandkids. You really owned us libs, hur dur. |
I sometimes shop at Walmart and I am a very nice person. Prices on some items that I use are $2/$3 cheaper at Walmart than at local grocery stores. |
Are all MAGAS crazy? |
Well, as long as you save $2 anything goes! |
The best thing about it is full time employees receive food stamps. You know because Walmart does not pay its employees a living wage and the government subsidize them. |
| The criticisms of MAGA are fair. The dehumanizing insults of people who shop there really aren't. |
PP. lol, I meant the criticisms of Walmart are fair. The criticisms of MAGA are also fair, but that is a different subject. |
She's not wrong though. The first time I went to a Walmart I had a bunch of stuff in my cart and left it to find something in one of the narrow aisles where carts don't fit. I returned to find that somebody had taken my cart and unceremoniously dumped all my items on the floor. That doesn't happen anywhere else. |

WalMart prices are still good. $8/lb for ground beef is more or less the going price in my area. Not sure what the grocery prices are at our local WalMart but I bet they're more affordable than Harris Teeter or Wegmans. People need to eat, and WalMart is serving a need, especially now.

No why they don't have Walmart's here? Because urbanites can't afford to shop at them.
Like I don't see -Any- retail in my neck of the woods. |
| Does Walmart pay less than Giant and Safeway? |
| Aldi is less expensive and employees are paid well and get health insurance. Costco also treats employees well. These are the stores I choose to shop at. |
DC are 2 or 3 stores. |
Agree. Lesser of two evils. |
DP. Do you not understand that people are struggling to pay their basic bills? You mock someone trying to save $2, but an awful lot of people literally can’t afford their groceries if they don’t save $2 here, and 40 cents there, and $1 there. That whole process of eggs thing has become a joke, but it’s not merely a joke. Things are really, really hard for a lot of people. You want to criticize Walmart’s anti-union, anti-competitive practices? Have at it. But to dismiss anyone who is trying to save money in 2026 —- when more than half of American families are struggling to afford groceries, 4 out of 5 food assistance programs are stretched beyond capacity — is wild. You really sound clueless. |
