| I think my late 30s I looked best because I had finally mastered skin care, hair care, had enough money to buy nice clothes, took good care of my body, and did not yet have any noticeable signs of aging. |
It most definitely can be true. But harpies like you love to bring down other women. Shame on you. |
I don't think PP was doing that. Truth can be hard to accept. Do you have any idea how ridiculous it is to hear that you look better as a 40-something than in 20s?? I mean, I get you want to believe that but come on... |
| I am impressed you all can be so consistent day to day. I can look better than ever one day and like a troll the next. Allergies, alcohol, drugs, menstrual cycle, stress, sleep and diet make a bigger difference than age, in my experience. |
| i think that age age 22 i was certainly less toned, had less expensive makeup and clothing, and drank too much alcohol so maybe had a little beer gut with those low rise jeans we all wore and maybe had a little puffiness or redness to my face in those bar photos. but no, i also looked 22. and now i look 42. i may look thinner and more toned, and more put together, but that's nothing compared to the power of youth! sorry! |
30s is still full of fertility hormones, good hair, and good metabolism. When your friends are all 45, they will not be more beautiful than they were when they were young. |
| Yes, I look back at pictures and in my 30s I looked so good, even with less money and tired as a young mom. Hair was fuller, face was youthful, naturally thin. Wish we all knew how beautiful we are at young ages, even if we dressed funny or couldn't style ourselves! I look ok now for a mid 40s mom, but the stress of aging is starting to show. |
| I did too! And then it all went to shit when I hit menopause at 53. So enjoy it while you can! |
This. I definitely looked better (I think, at least) at 30 than I did at 20. But I looked my ABSOLUTE best at 22, when I trained for a marathon and started grad school, because I didn't really drink at all that year (because: marathon and grad school! didn't really socialize in grad school honestly). I see pictures of myself as a healthy, toned, young, non-drinker and I looked absolutely amazing. And I didn't even appreciate it or realize it!!!! Now that I'm in my 40s, I look healthy and relatively in shape and put together, and not overweight, but I also look like I'm in my 40s and there are no fixes for that. And that's ok! |
