Any other NoVA club promoted to MLSNEXT HG level?

That would be some of that old school stupidity. Maybe they do need to more closely study the impacts of all those data centers out yonder.

Unfortunately for the Brit clique ruling over Loudoun soccer they won’t be getting the $20 million JK was going to fork out to buy out LSP. Must be tough seeing that obscene money not getting your pockets when you haven’t amounted to anything in life besides grifting in the good ol’ USA thanks to socca

That's cute. I will toss VA Revolution into the empty calories pile with SYC. Yeah for nattie's and rankings!

Meanwhile, Bethesda, Arlington, VDA and Achilles will continue to churn out professionals from the DMV that most of you don't even hear about.

Viva revolution...climb those rankings and rep the DMV...

What the heck you talking about?

It's a roundabout way of saying that I don't believe Loudoun is getting MLS Next Homegrown, at least not for next fall despite the silly propaganda I've been reading here.

Nobody in their right mind would proudly advertise MLS Next AD while secretly holding their MLS Next HD trump card back for some big reveal.

SYC has more kids spread across MLS Pro academies around the country than any other club you mentioned—they just don’t promote it the way other local clubs do. They’re also putting players on multiple national teams, including two recently with the U.S. National Team. Don’t put Revolution and SYC in the same sentence, lol.

Gonna need Rev to start adding their AD tag in all their boasts about MLS Next.

I’m sorry but SYC does not. SYC is amazing at finding kids in their younger ages that are physical beasts but lack skills and other programs pass on these kids. They do extremely well at the younger ages but by U17 and U18 they are near the bottom of the table.

WHY does Rev social media post not state that those rankings belong to MLS2 which is a badge league and not embedded in the real ecosystem of top tier youth soccer in America?

Loudoun/NVA BOYS has both Homegrown and Academy Division teams. They are one in the same. Homegrown is branded as NVA

NVA Homegrown
Loudoun Academy

Loudoun/NVA GIRLS has both Girls Academy and Aspire teams. They are one and the same.

NVA Girls Academy top tier team
Loudoun Girls Academy second tier team
Loudoun Aspire third tier team

I saw that social media post by Revolution, which seemed oddly misleading. Does everyone realize that they are nationally ranked, but in the new second tier of MLS Next, the Academy Division? This is the equivalent of ECNL Regional League.

Your credibility plummets when you include VDA in that list.

When are the new additions going to be announced? They announced NVA in February last year.

Some Va Rev parents told me that the club announced that they got promoted to tier1(homegrown). Is it true?
