How to respond anti-religion comments after you tell someone your kid goes to a religious school?

This is such a nothingburger. Anyone with kids now knows what a mess public schools are and how lucky it is to find a spot in a good catholic or private school. The musings of old people can be brushed off as just not understanding the current state of schools.

Don’t bring public schools into this one. It is not remotely hard to find a spot in a catholic or private school in the city if you want to go. It would be tons harder if everyone in public was applying out because they thought like this.

Sexual abuse in public schools is estimated to be 100x that alleged in religious schools.
