I also avoid Chinese packaged foods. They have a history of serious issues, and don't seem to either have regulations or adhere to them. Even the Alaskan salmon you buy caught off the coast of our Alaska, may be a product of China, since it's processed and packaged there.

I'm all for a little China bashing. Actually, I'm all for a lot of China bashing.
My one remaining long-term hope for our country's economy is that a wave of nationalism and/or racism will drive us to default on all of the Chinese debt. Then we'll see who was foolish and short-sighted. |
It is amazing that any children in China survive to adulthood given the apparent toxic nature of every food they eat, every toy they touch!

you shouldn't eat non organic apples bc they are full of pesticides
why china ? dole does not have to outsource apples there are plenty of u.s. grown apples available ....
i had the same guy reaction when i saw that my mandarin oranges were from china. but then i realized they were MANDARIN oranges. so, i just limit our intake and don't worry about it too much. chinese products do make me a little more nervous because of recent questions about their regulatory systems, but getting too worked up about it would be paralysing and just not worth it.

I have been buying Dole products for a long time. I just tried the Apple Cinnimon and seen the label Apples from China. Why when we have good apples here. I will not buy your products anymore. We need our products from the US.
