How to convince DH to dress better?

My dh wears terrible clothes and I can’t seem to get him to stop. At least it’s just button downs and jeans that he wears, but he likes running shoes. I think the issue most is that our friends and I dress very nicely so he does stick out. Dh is really hot so maybe that helps his look somewhat but it’s not great.

What’s super awful is his cargo shorts and high school shirts that he wears on weekends.

I saw one of them in Costco yesterday dressed in athletic shorts, a torn T-shirt, white knee socks and New Balance sneakers. I know that look gets you so hot, ladies…

Same thing a husband should do if he doesn't like how his wife dresses.

Get rid of the clothes he doesn't like when she isn't looking and buy her new clothes that he likes and wants her to wear.
