And 0 of those 17000 deaths happen in Arlington lol. |
The Midwest is huge. Where I’m from, we walked a mile to our bus stop. |

When your child is in college, will you want them to skip classes due to bad weather? Or do you want them to suck it up and go?
Butttt… maybe your kid won’t make it to college in the first place, since you taught them to be a victim of all life’s challenges. |

they should have delayed it because no one wanted to treat for 1 inch of snow. everyone expects that to melt immediately because that's what typically happens but it didn't this time.
we shoveled, but anthing left behind is a small icy patch to watch out for. plenty of houses on my street did nothing |
Nothing is going to melt in a 2 hour delay, and it's all likely to still be icy tomorrow since it's so cold. A delay would have done nothing to improve safety. My kid has a lot of pre-break tests this week and a delay really messes with the schedule. Better just to go on time. |
Falls on ice are a real issue for elderly people with balance and mobility issues. However, this should not be driving decision making for school-aged children. |
Doris can stay inside. Kids need to go to school. |
