APS Dec 15 - will it ice over and 2 hr delay

Anonymous
The temps are just dropping today, so are we just gonna be ice tomorrow and thus delayed two hours?

Wouldn’t rule it out however this would be gross incompetence. Plenty of time to treat surfaces today.

I’ve learned to never under estimate how much no one cares if they go to school including many parents.

I am predicting a 2 hour delay given the temps around 6:30 am. I don’t think this will be about ice, but about kids waiting for the bus at 20 degrees

There was a day last week they had to head out for middle school and it was 17 degrees. I have a kid this age and looked to see temp. It was fine.

It’s about all the sidewalks.

I give it 50/50 chance.

Right right right

I am busy throwing water and piling as much snow on mine as possible.

PP drives their kid to school so they don’t think about sidewalks

And the busses starting.

My south Arlington street is dry. I think it’s possible there will be a delay but not likely.

Yeah I think if we get a delay it will be bus-related vs ice-related. Takes them a while to start when it’s this cold.

The roads are not even wet. There's nothing to refreeze. All the snow is on the grass.
