Seriously bizarre. Have previous Administrations ever published/posted anything like this? It's super weird, and not particularly well-written. |
I find this sentence to be fascinating - "On the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Catholics celebrate what they believe to be Mary’s freedom from original sin as the mother of God." So, you're posting a whole essay about Mary and the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, but you're also not totally convinced it should be a thing. |
+1. I keep waiting for someone in a position of power to start banging the drum about this. It is shocking how fast the backlash has developed. |
It's a shotgun attempt at redemption. |
I doubt trump is eligible for purgatory as this is where people who can receive salvation are sent. Trump is only fit for eternal damnation. |
| I just can’t imagine Mary being sanguine about this |
Not in the 1930s, which gave us the New Deal, or 2008, which gave us Occupy Wall Street. It’s more accurate to say that hard economic times create a backlash against greed. The backlash against women comes from a place of perceived loss of privilege. |
OP. Exactly!!! |
| Trump loves raping virgins. Too bad Mary's was a mistranslation. |
And thanksgiving: "A very Happy Thanksgiving salutation to all of our Great American Citizens and Patriots who have been so nice in allowing our Country to be divided, disrupted, carved up, murdered, beaten, mugged, and laughed at, along with certain other foolish countries throughout the World, for being 'Politically Correct,' and just plain STUPID, when it comes to Immigration" |

Do they always have mass at the WH? Monday was day of obligation, so if religious services are offered, then it makes sense. Odd to publish a photo, but also nice to see WH staff aren't required to hide their faith.
Reflection isn't a bad thing during the day. |
Didn't he become president in January 2009? |
| Fake righteousness. We all know what they really wanna do to the Virgin Mary. |
yes elected in 2008 and took over the republicans mess |
A lot of Catholics must have voted for Trump. |
