If you are genuinely interested in the school and in the application process, you will have a natural conversation with the admissions team about the math trajectory for your kid.

Don't hesitate to reach out to admissions and ask thoughtful questions that can't be answered online, in the curriculum documents, or on tours. You won't be labeled "that parent."

We did when our child was applying to HS, and they were very accommodating (including contacting a teacher in the department) and helpful, more so than a few other unnamed schools we were considering.

A school offended by a family asking about academic offerings is not one I’d want my kids to attend
