Does this "friend" actually dislike me?

Substance abuse, insecurity, someone who's a garden variety @sshole, who knows. Also, who cares. I mean this kindly but the fact that you're spending any time asking yourself if this person likes you reveals your youth. The only question you need to ask is how to cleanly steer clear of this person going forward. She clearly sucks, let life take care of her. It usually does. And congratulations on your kitchen! I bet it's beautiful.

+1 This person put into words what I'm thinking. I'm considered an old mom in our neighborhood because I've got at least 10 years on most of the moms. I've seen the types of women and social groups you're describing. Surround yourself with people and energy who lift you up...lift up each other. This may mean that you're not invited to all the drunken bashes and don't make the social media highlight reel but who gives a shit? You do you, focus on your people and your life and don't give this woman another thought, trust me when I say you'll be happier for it.

I mean, do you like her? I can’t imagine why you would. Going through someone’s cabinets is really inappropriate and odd, then asking if you’re poor…I would’ve avoiding her as much as possible going forward.

I think she's just vapid and thinks she's funny. I wouldn't want to hang with her but I wouldn't take her weirdness personally.
