i agree, but when looking at how she spoke VERY openly with Drew on her show about her BF, something doesn't add up. |
| The difference between Jenna and Drew was huge. |
Maybe she did misunderstand and thought Jenna was asking about the post, which I agree would have been dicey to address. |
|
Jenna could have worded it something like this: Your new Netflix movie, Love Near the Tree (I don't know) is out now, and it's a Christmas romance movie - one of my favorite genres! I noticed on your Instagram page you're having a romance with the man from Imagine Dragons - has he seen your new Netflix movie yet?
Then she'd be mentioning him but tying it back to why Minka was there, and Minka would have room to gush about him if she wanted or just bring it back to what she was promoting if that's what she was most comfortable with. |
| 18.50- That would have been much better. |
It was a great book. She had a very traumatic upbringing |
I just watched her Xmas movie and was wondering about this too! |
Socially that makes sense but this is a TV show, the point is to get her to talk at the same time isn't it the publicists job to say beforehand what she will/won't talk aboit? |
Sometimes it's a sign of sexual abuse, but I think she just has a high voice |
DP - it's not the high voice. It's a different cadence or tone that she uses. I watched the Christmas movie last night (Champagne Problems) and a thriller movie (Blackwater Lane) she was in earlier in the week. I wasn't even searching for Minka Kelly shows, just happened upon two of them in one week. In both movies she has an odd inflection. It's almost like she's trying to have a Jacqueline Onassis uniqueness that you cannot tell if it is genuine or not. |
| I think it is her real voice. |
