Minka Kelly awkwardly shut down Jenna Bush Hager’s question about her boyfriend Dan Reynolds — leaving the host baffled on what to say next.

The actress joined Hager and co-host Olivia Munn on Today with Jenna & Friends Tuesday to promote her new movie, “Champagne Problems,” but Hager, not so smoothy transitioned her questions to get a little more personal.

“Speaking about the holidays and love in this romcom, you have a very big love in your life right now,” she began, tripping over her words.

Talk about your relationship if you feel comfortable,” Hager, 43, propositioned, which made Kelly shoot back into her seat and appear shocked.

Despite Kelly, 45, looking visibly uncomfortable, the journalist continued to press about their relationship and specifically asked about a recent birthday message the “Friday Night Lights” alum posted for the Imagine Dragons frontman and noted that it was “beautiful.”

“Yeah, it was beautiful,” Kelly responded hesitantly. She also appeared to look off-camera, possibly over at her publicist for help.

Not the point, but why does she STILL talk in the same baby voice she talked in during Friday Night Lights? Is that just her voice?

Also not the point, but Netflix has WAY too many Christmas movies. I wish I could do a search for new movies on Netflix that aren't Christmas rom-coms.

Minka Kelly has a very interesting book - she grew up very poor and in unstable abusive atmospheres. How she got to where she is, is quite interesting and amazing.

Dan Reynolds is the frontman for the band Imagine Dragons.
