Epstein letter: Trump knew

It might stop Trump from pardoning Maxwell. I consider that a win

Fox News still pretending there is nothing to see here!

No. I can already guess how MAGA will respond. "He stopped associating with Epstein once he knew about the girls. He kicked him out of Mar A Lago."

Except he actually knowingly used one of Epstein's trafficked girls. The implication of the text of Epstein's own emails is that Epstein acknowledged Trump knew Epstein was trafficking girls and knowingly used at least one of them for sex.

"Just because Epstein says it doesn't mean it's true." Trump supporters are never going to admit Trump did anything wrong. Everyone knew he was a rapist. They still voted for him.

This. MAGA is hopeless. I have elderly MAGA relatives who insist they have no idea who Russell Vought is but can rattle off details about an election ten states away where a Republican lost a “disgusting” Democrat— most likely an election hammered into their heads by FOX.

Email. Emails.
They call it electronic mail.
It's mail with electricity,
And I know nothing about it.

I know nothing about it.

Clearly his assistant wrote those emails. She’ll be arrested soon.

I think some of the approval rating that Trump is hanging onto has more to do with being respondents being anti-"lib" vs. pro-Trump. Enthusiasm has dipped. The economy and his handling of Epstein have cost him.

Please excuse my naïveté. Can you explain?

Yes. There is evidence that Maxwell's supporters (attorneys and relatives) have been strategically leaking information about the Epstein case on Maxwell's behalf in order to have bargaining chips in their effort to get Trump to commute her sentence.

Exhibit A: You may recall that Maxwell was recently moved to a cushy prison (Club Fed) shortly after meeting with DOJ official Todd Blanche (who is also Trump's former personal lawyer). The context for that is that in July 2025, amid uproar from Trump supporters and MAGA influencers over the DOJ's refusal to release more Epstein files, RW media figures and online communities leaked and amplified reports of Maxwell's willingness to testify before Congress about Epstein's "client list" and high-profile ties (e.g., claims regarding the Clintons). This pressure prompted Deputy AG Blanche to visit Maxwell in prison for a two-day interview, after which she was transferred to a minimum-security facility and speculation about commutation began to percolate.

Exhibit B: The NYT story that is the subject of this thread refers to an email exchange between Epstein and Maxwell which suggests that Trump knew what Epstein was up to. The speculation is those emails came from Maxwell's camp. And that their purpose is to turn up the heat on Trump in order to grant her clemency. These leaks also contain an indirect warning: Commute my sentence soon or I will leak more damning info about you.

Wish they had released more context regarding what Epstein/Maxwell were talking about at the time.

My guess is that Epstein thought that Trump was the guy who narced on him because of their falling out over that real estate deal.

Of course Trump knew and participated.

My guess is Trump knowingly had sex with an underage trafficked victim in Epstein's house based on this latest leak of Epstein saying Trump spent hours with a victim. Hey MAGAs, what do you think Trump was doing with one of Epstein's girls? Discussing the weather?

EPSTEIN ALLEGED IN E-MAILS THAT TRUMP KNEW OF HIS CONDUCT

In a message obtained by Congress, the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein wrote that Donald Trump spent hours at his house with one of Mr. Epstein's victims.

It's pretty clear this leak was timed for the House reconvening after being off 59 days. Johnson is swearing in Adelita Grijalva, who will become the 218th signature on the discharge petition to release the Epstein files.

This headline is journalistic malpractice. This isn't Epstein "alleging" that Trump knew. This is Epstein and Maxwell discussing - in 2011, long before Trump had political salience - how the FACT that Trump knew might play out

Both of them took as a given that this was a fact in a private email

Agree, but the NYT probably doesn’t want to get hit with a $1b lawsuit like Trump hit the BBC with, even though they’d probably win in the end.

For the millionth time there was a court order to not release Epstein files.

Congressional democrats recently got it from the Epstein estate.

🎯 House Oversight dems subpoenaed Epstein’s estate.

Wasn’t Epstein first convicted in Florida in 2008 (correct me if I’m wrong). But Trump “spent hours” with a girl in Epstein’s house in 2012.
