even if you believe harvard is a private country club, which it kind of is, it's none of your business if they only make half the people pay

Agree. We are only recently in the full pay category and I’ve been surprised at the percentage of no-pay. $400k per kid is still a hugely significant number for most people. As a first generation student, I support some assistance. The difference in pay just seems so vast relative to income considerations, especially in the barely-qualifying incomes.

Feel free to retire and enjoy free tuition.

Well you see...we can't, what with still needing to eat/health care/pay for home like everyone else, etc. I'd love to know why you think we could just quit jobs and be fine?

Yes, but the rest (R&B and expenses) is likely about $20K. A kid can earn $10K take fed loans for $5.5K and left with $5K. Much better than figuring out $90K

My white kid goes to Michigan and his Asian-American friends are getting him interested in football. It's coming from them to him.
