psat scores

True, English section was difficult. Will that lower the selection index score?

Much lower than expected including lower than the SAT score.

My sophomore DD who got a perfect score on reading on PSAT 8/9 got a 710 this year on PSAT 10/11. She said it was crazy hard, and she is a voracious reader who is a very strong test taker.

If they didn't send anything out, you would complain "at least they could have told us nothing is posted on CB." They probably sent it out to stop each class of 2028 parent calling to find out.

But my 10th grader didn’t get flagged by either of those in app so I’m assuming she didn’t score high enough for their metrics (and/or they don’t do 10th graders but I’m assuming former).

My kid also said English was crazy hard. But they essentially curve the scores so I don't think it will change the selection criteria much. (My kid did 30 points worse than their September SAT.)

My kid got 220 index score - guessing NMF is out then, unless they reduce the cutoff?

My kid said a couple of his friends texted that they got theirs but my kid said his account is only showing his 10th grade PSAT. They all go to the same school.

dont forget the SAT score will be higher so if you got 1250 - add 60ish points to see what SAT would be.

Not necessarily. My kid took them a few days apart and scored the same in both.

It was 221 a couple years ago so 220 is not totally crazy if it was in fact a much harder test this year. I don’t think the cut off will be 224 again.

Mine got 1380 but he said he didn’t finish both math and english.

Do they still show you the wrong answers you got with category of question? I didn’t see it for each question this time - just categories.
