Still nothing here. I don't see a way to see scores in the Big Future app. Only on the College Board website (?)
|
But it does say Hopkins and Univ of Chicago interested in you. Hopefully that means the scores are somewhat decent. Or does everyone have this? |
|
app or website?
|
App, apparently but no scores in either for us. But app shows which schools are interested based on psat score. |
They are very interested in your application fee. Do not buy into colleges playing marketing games. |
My son’s app says Harvard as one of the choices. His GPA (junior) is 3.0. I wouldn’t give too much stock to this. His 10th grade PSAT was 1290 and this year he wasn’t able to finish. He said the English part was ridiculously hard. He has 1530 from the summer SAT. |
I understand that. Just trying to extrapolate minimum PSAT score to read the tea leaves. How low do they solicit? Like anything above 1100 or 1050 or 1200? Anything know from previous years? |

He has 1530 from the summer SAT.
(that is why Harvard) more impt then PSAT score. That is a huge difference! |
Yes but his GPA is low and he will probably going to be rejected from most of UMD colleges. Just pointing out that “these matches” in the Big Future app are meaningless. |
| same we have a range from harvard and mit to uconn etc. this must be paid advertising not real. |
But my 10th grader didn’t get flagged by either of those in app so I’m assuming she didn’t score high enough for their metrics (and/or they don’t do 10th graders but I’m assuming former). |
It’s paid but based on their metrics, which are real, even if not realistic for admission. |
| it is probably 11th grade only. |
My 10th grader has a bunch but no Ivys. |
| Just google. They buy stats. Means nothing. |
