| As you age, and bring in caregivers, your world grows significantly smaller. And it is a huge headache for those managing the caregivers: to find one who is reliable, responsible (won't steal from you), affordable, etc. can be done, but it's a massive time suck. If your parents can afford the AL in a CRC, they can be social, there is accountability, and a lot less management from you. My advice, find a nonprofit one nearby, where you can stop in regularly without it being a hassle |
