Financial tradeoffs when deciding whether to move for better schools

We stayed in our starter home, kids went to very fair at best public elementary if you look at the school scores. They had a great experience and learned well. Now they are in a top magnet high school and excelling. And we have saved and invested a ton and have been able to provide them and ourselves a wonderful quality of life. Most importantly, we have a great community.
