Dating a man wearing a cat shirt

I can't find an exact match (new horrible thought: what of it's custom) but this is the closest vibe:

There was only one large photorealistic fish rodeo cat on his torso, and there was no rainbow vomit but the rest of the shirt was a galaxy rainbow print. This was OLD so he doesn't know my last name (re: Japanese)

And it was a goldfish, maybe koi, not a shark. Vital information

I posted the earlier link to the cute shirt. This one (and ones in the same style) is completely awful and, unless it was some kind of themed party or intentional joke, would likely be a hard pass. I’m a crazy cat lady, FWIW. I actually think a tshirt would have been better.

People on this site will making having any kind of a personality a red flag.

I am fully invested.

I don't like the shirt for public- but it's hilarious. No red flag. Maybe he just needs a bit of a nudge with fashion.

Your reaction should be a red fish for him. A shirt is an immature thing to focus on when deciding the worth of another human.

He sounds secure to me.

I love it. My husband would totally wear it and loves our cat.

It is not my style, but no one is going to be exactly what you seek. I would spend enough time with him to decide if he matches you on multiple, important qualities.

If you write people off too quickly, for superficial reasons, you will wind up alone.

I really enjoy this thread. And interrogating why I think the above shirt is much weirder than the Tokyo Tiger shirt linked earlier.

OP just admitted that she met this guy during online dating. So maybe the guy has a dopey idea about how to become memorable in a limited context environment.

This is better than most Beauty and Fashion threads - I love the shirts listed on this thread! Green flag for me.
