Do you believe a free and fair 2028 Presidential Election (or 2026 Midterms) will happen?

You must realize how foolish you sound.

Sadly, you are too stupid to understand how your dear leader and your MAGA Goons are destroying our country.

Whelp, there goes another Democrat wondering why bother voting Democrat when their fellow Democrats belittle them. Nice. SMH.

Are your values so changeable that some random person/bot on the internet can change them with a single interaction? That's really quite pathetic, and would suggest your values are not firmly held principles at all.

I was talking about the PP you were turning off. That kind of behavior contributed to Trump’s election. It is like you don’t want people vote. 🤔

What are you even talking about? No one said anything about not voting. We're talking about whether it'll be a free and fair election. Keep up.

You use every chance you get, including this thread, to slam Democrat supporters for not being pure enough by calling them MAGA. By doing this, you suppress Democrat voter turnout. So, yes, let’s continue with the discussion without your blatant hatred of fellow democrats.

Again, wtf are you even talking about? Every poster on here is Anonymous, yet you think you can tell me what I do, every chance I get, yet it's not even something I was doing on this very thread. You're insane.

Nope, care to explain what specifically is foolish about it?

Sure, no neighbors, in fact, no one I know has ever been “loaded into trucks.” Kids get on the school bus though. You should definitely say this at dinner with friends and family.

So because you personally haven't experienced a thing, it must not be happening, and I am foolish for saying so? Just trying to follow the MAGA logic.

You have every right to be a hyperbolic chicken little but rational people will think you’re a fool.

For one thing, elections are run by the states. And there are informed observers who can point out any shenanigans being pulled at the state level.

But beyond that, Trump bases his so-called mandate on his popularity with the people. Other than crowd size at his rallies, elections are his favorite way to measure that. His ego won't let him put a stop to elections.

And then what? The courts have been stacked against the people.

Would you feel the same way if the courts were stacked the other way? Do you believe they should be 50/50?

NP. I wouldn't feel the same way. But the difference is dem judges are not trying to take away votes or suppress anything from you. Also this whole argument is based on a fallacy since there is not a single instance of voter fraud found from 2020 (Dem and R judges). Despite all the crybaby bi--a$$ whining from Trump and his sycophants.

Because you personally haven't experienced it, it isn't happening, and is thus hyperbole? Do I have that right?

FWIW I don’t think it is as simple as x percent is liberal/MAGA and therefore believe/don’t believe free and fair elections will happen in 2026 and 2028.

FWIW I think Trump looks too sick and frail these days to continue beyond this term. He might not make to the end. Without him, the MAGA cult falls apart. It will fracture and become less able to hold the reins.

You probably will stop paying attention to maga as much and it will seem like the “cult” has fallen apart.

I do think antitrumpers underestimate magas.

They don't need to rig all the elections. Just enough to get 50.1% of the vote in 50.1% of the "point total" regionz.

50.1 % is a believable number. For any winner.,

Of course, if we’ve learned anything it’s that they will cheat, so it will get ugly.

This is what maga thought in 2020 and 2021.

I used to believe that all of the -isms and -phobias of our society, while they certainly existed, we're banished to the edges of society, and generally not welcomed in polite society. This year has shaken me out of my naivete. Today, I don't put anything past this regime, and I don't put anything past the white masses to fall in line and allow it.

I'm doing what I can to prepare for harder times, and to keep my family safe, but also making peace with the reality that a lot of this is out of my hands, and trying to enjoy each day as it comes.

So you’re gonna blame white people for your hypothetical future suffering. You sound racist.

Humans are emotional creatures. They will not stick with people that make them feel bad about themselves. And why should anyone have an alliance with a group that berates them on a daily basis?

What you are suggesting is any dem loss could be blamed on Trumps authoritarian behavior. PP is saying it could be because Dems won’t feel like voting because you of your disdain.

DP. You can't claim you're "rational" and that others are "hyperbolic chickens"- you are merely clueless and ignorant of reality. (At best.) At worst you do know the reality of what's going on but are a dishonest person attempting to deny, deflect and gaslight. I can't imagine anyone who frequents political message boards would be clueless or ignorant of reality, so I'm leaning toward the dishonest gaslighting in my assessment of you. Regardless, neither of these positions works well for you.

I have every expectation that upcoming elections will be held to the legal standards of each State. Also, that those legal standards have been engineered to best preserve Republican victory in Red states.

All I know, is that if my party doesn't win, the elections have been rigged.

- that is where most American voters are in 2025, sadly.
