This. My son and his friends aren’t really sporty boys but they are still typical boys around each other. Every single one of them would still drop that in order to help anyone without being told. They hold doors for people, ask if people need help, etc. |
My son is like this, but he's older now. |
There were a good number of "problem" kids in DC's DoD schools. |
What are DoD schools?
OP, I think you need to visit a few private schools and find a strict one (not all are.) |
I look for big-hearted parents. Sorry, OP, you’re not one of them. |
Like befriends like, OP. If your child is attracting ill-mannered friends, then you need to take a hard look at how he is behaving when he's outside your view, and what he himself values in friends.
The kids you describe absolutely exist, and if your own child was one of them or valued those qualities in friends, you would already know who they are. |
Dungeon of dragon school? |
You’re not either |
I’m not seeing 8 yr olds like this. With phones, calling each other bruh. Really? |
Military base schools |
I teach kindergarten and have had students call me bruh for years. |
Dept of Defense schools. But most people are not eligible to send their kids to one so it's a dumb suggestion. |
Specifically, only on those military bases where the "DoD Educational Activity" operates the schools. Many such bases are outside the continental US. Some are in the continental US. Students living on most military bases in the continental US (e.g., Ft Belvoir) instead attend the local public schools (e.g., FCPS). |
