I'm 49, she's turning 47. We have 3 young kids. It's been a dead bedroom for a while. Once a year. Then we went the last year and a half without sex. But finally we started up again on vacation this summer and had a night in a hotel without the kids. I need to work on taking some initiative.

As empty nesters, twice a week, ages 61 and 63. When kids were in their teens, once a week though sometimes we’d miss a week. When they were young, we could go weeks without time / energy for sex.
